Standing on these highlands with thousands of stars overhead and the vast earth beneath our feet, the spectacular scenery of Tibet Plateau always has an irresistible attraction that makes one want to explore it. After two days of rest in Lhasa, we were ready to go again and headed towards the top of the world, Mount Everest.

However, when we woke up, the whole world was covered in white. Fluttering snow whitened the ground, leaving a vast expanse of whiteness between sky and earth. The way forward was blocked by this unexpected blizzard.

The wind and snow can’t stop the journey, and the high altitude can’t stop the yearning, for the unknown and uncertain are the charm of motorcycle travel. No matter how difficult it was, we wanted to keep going.

The wind and snow gradually receded after a few hours. We had already driven past 312 Provincial Highway and G317 National Highway. After more than 400 kilometers of riding, we finally got close to Mount Everest.

In the test of wind and frost and through the Everest 108 twists and turns, we drove all the way forward to the base camp at Mount Everest. Fortunately, the day we arrived at the base camp was sunny and cloudless. Mount Everest at the end of my sight was eternally quiet, it looked as if it were close at hand. This is a geographical miracle for thousands of years created by the Creator.

We took photos outside the Everest National Park, looking at the mountains in front of us, between the mountains and the vicissitudes of life, only the surging voices inside my heart could be heard. Looking up at the top of the world, I couldn’t help feeling the insignificance of a human being, and my thoughts were surging and I was full of emotions.

Leaving Everest National Park, we made a short stop at Kongtanglam Mountain in Gyirong County, passing through no man's land, and finally came to Ali, the last stop of this Tibet trip.

Ali is one of the densest areas in China’s lake division, where water that cannot flow into the ocean converges into large and small lakes. In Tibetan, the word for Lake is cuo, meaning mistake in Chinese. One of our friends joked that if it’s a mistake to love motorcycle travel, then It’s one mistake after another that took us to Ali.

Every lake here has a legend that belongs to them, guarding the land for eternity. Wonderland in the sky, Yangzhuo in the world. The stars in the sky, the cattle, and sheep by the lake. The lake water of Yangzhuo Yongcuo is blue and breathtaking, with the pebble beach shining like a bright white silver belt inlaid by the lake.

The blue sky and white clouds, the snow-capped lakes, and the cattle and sheep returning at dusk seemed to be in a dream. one can’t feel it unless you are there. On this 345,000-square-kilometer land, beauty and desolation are at their extremes. Only by crossing snow-capped mountains, deserts, and mountains and rivers can we meet them.

This land contains all things, soaring eagles, and flocks of Tibetan wild donkeys, these Tibetan spirits show the most vigorous and tenacious life and wild beauty.

The Tibetan wild donkey ran freely, and the locomotive whizzed past as if it was a race. Riding a motorcycle bumps forward, but the body is more integrated with this vast scenery. While we are pursuing freedom, we must also jointly protect our ecological civilization.

Only oneself can understand the hardships of the motorcycle tour, but this mysterious plateau, once touched, is hard to let go of.
